Kilbeagh was in the Barony of Costello
The 1901 census of England and Wales shows William McGeever aged 21 of Mayo, Ireland working as an 'ordinary farm labourer' at Collinge Farm in Backford, Chester (see Schedule 5 of this record).
Honora ( or Honoria ) Finn was very young when her marriage took place. She was a child of the family who had lived next door to her husband (his family home was later dwelt in by the Ciarons), and may have only been 12 or so when the marriage was transacted.
Nora died on the SS Baltic 4th February 1920.
Joe was living in England at 3 Gregory Street, Longton Potteries, Staffordshire by 1908. Later, possibly at the request of his brother Jack, he moved up to Yorkshire to become a pit worker. The last address I have for him (1941) is 43 Doncaster Road, Denaby Main, where he lodged with a Mrs. Madden. He died in 1963 in Doncaster.
