These McGeevers lived in Slievemore, Cloontia.

Not far away, in Ballahere, was a cousin Michael McGeever, also confusingly known as Ciaron ( or Kieran ). That Michael had a small shop, and married Ellen Finn from Charlestown. Their children were :-

• Kate married Johnny Grady from Bockagh and had a son Pete
• Nora married Mick Forkin from Islandmore
• Annie married Patrick Finn. Patrick's father was also Patrick from the 'Finn' village who married Mary Morrisroe from Tonragee. His grandfather was Ned Rue Finn and his grandmother was Mary, sister of Nancy Finn.
• Paddy

• Mick who married Nora O'Hara from Annaghmore ( sister of Pat Tim O'Hara who married Bea McDonnell of Tavnabeg ). They had children Des and Kathleen.
